Integrated labels combine a label and a form in one. This can increase efficiency and save money, allowing you to add labels to any type of form. This is a great way to save time as well. There are several ways that integrated labels can be made. You can combine many different labels and forms, enabling you to produce just what your business needs. People often consider some common methods. There are what is known as blown on labels, these labels are removed from the liner and attached to the chosen form by a suction process. Often, integrated labels are in a piggy back style so that you can reuse them. These labels have a liner and two layers. The label on the top has adhesive. The second label has the release coating on the top and adhesive coating on the back. When the integrated labels are pulled off and blown on to the form, the second label is adhered to the form. It is this label that acts as a liner for the top label. Integrated labels also come in a non-imaging form. This means that the label is imprinted and has no liner. Self-imaging labels consist of imprinted on the liner. When the label is removed, the image stays on the liner and it is still attached to the form. The imaging liner of this type of label is the second label on a piggyback style label. Integrated labels that are blown on are placed on the form after a release coating is applied. The release coating eliminates the need for the second label between the liner and top label. Printing is shown on the form in the label area once it is removed. The advantage to this type of labels has to do with the ease of use when going through a printer. It is thinner and has less change of being stuck. When it comes to creating integrated labels with the blown on method, they need to be printed on self-imaging paper. There is also what is known as duel web construction. This is where a label and a form are combined side by side with a seemed line. This way forms and labels are imprinted at once when going through the printer. The form for this method is usually single part, but can be multi-part as well. The integrated labels section can also be for single or multiple label use. Labels can be the same size or vary. If there is a self-imaging liner of the label, an image will appear when the labels are imprinted. To make it convenient, the number on the forms and the number of the integrated labels will match. People can also choose to have a numbering sequence that is unrelated when it comes to the forms and the labels.
